Sena, Dogra Front, Mission Statehood condemn killing of JCO, VDGs

JAMMU, Nov 11:Various political organizations have expressed deep anguish over increasing terror incidents in J&K and stongly condemned the killing of JCO and two Village Defence Guards in Kishtwar. They have urged the Government to take tough measures in weeding out terrorism from J&K.
Leaders of Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit paid tearful tribute to Naib Subedar, Rakesh Kumar who made the supreme sacrifice in an encounter with terrorists in Kishtwar district yesterday. Expressing deep concern over the increase in terrorist attacks, Sena warned the terrorists to stop their nefarious and cowardly acts, advising the intelligence agencies to perform their duties with more sincerity and the Central Government to focus on J&K and increase the deployment of the army.
During the tribute programme organized at the party’s State Central Office, SS State chief, Manish Sahni said that the martyrdom of soldiers and terrorist attacks on innocent and unarmed people must be stopped and demanded stern action against terrorism.
The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of its president Ashok Gupta took out a protest rally in Jammu city and torched the Pakistani flag against the martyrdom of a JCO in a terror attack at Kishtwar.
Earlier, the Kashmir Tigers, linked to the Jaish-e-Mohammad terror group, had claimed responsibility for the killings of the two VDGs – Kuldeep Kumar and Nazir, both residents of Kuntwara.
He while strongly condemned the terrorist attack demanded carrying out army operations in flushing out terrorists and smashing their camps across the border.
Sunil Dimple, president Mission Statehood led a strong anti Pakistan protest rally on the Amphalla New Plot -Janipur High Court road. He burnt the Pak effigies, flags of JEM, TRF, BAT, against the killings of JCO, VDG members and attacking army in Kishtwar.
Addressing the protesters Dimple strongly condemned the killing of JCO Rakesh Kumar and Village Defence Guards by terrorists in Kishtwar and blamed Central Government for security lapses.
