JAMMU, Nov 14: J&K Grameen Bank today renewed its Corporate Agency Agreement (CAA) with Care Health Insurance, one of the leading health insurers in India.
The Agreement was signed by Sanjay Gupta, Chairman J&K Grameen Bank, in presence of Zaffer Akeel Shah, General Manager, J&K Grameen Bank and Atul Sabahwal, Business Head- Rural and Government Business, Care Health Insurance signed the Agreement.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Gupta, Chairman J&K Grameen Bank highlighted the importance of health insurance in today’s era of uncertainties and inflation in medical sector.
“J&K Grameen Bank through customized products of Care Health Insurance has been serving the populace of UT of Jammu & Kashmir and UT of Ladakh, securing them against untoward and hefty medical expenses which could arise in case of any medical emergency,” he said.
Gupta commended Care Health’s initiatives to innovate and design new products for clientele of J&K Grameen Bank at affordable rates with inclusion of latest procedures, cashless treatments and enhanced covers including automatic recharge on exhaustion of existing cover.
“It is a great leap forward in ensuring that the hospitalisation needs of the customers are covered at an affordable premium. The bank shall focus on its rural clientele by covering maximum people including farmers and rural population under health insurance,” he added.
Atul Sabharwal (Business Head- Rural and Government Business, Care Health Insurance) expressed gratitude to J&K Grameen Bank for continuous support and coordination leading to eight years long partnership between the two organizations committed to serve social cause for population of UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh.
