JAMMU, Nov 20: In the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Football (M&W) tournament organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu for the academic year 2024-25, matches were played at football ground of Jammu University, here today.
The tournament has brought together the talented athletes from various affiliated colleges, providing them with an excellent platform to showcase their skills and determination.
Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu addressed the players during the matches and inspiring them.
In matches of today, ASCOMS beat UIET Kathua by 2-0; IGGDC beat GDC Gaghwal by 2-1; MIET beat MBS College by 3-0; GMC Kathua beat GCET by 2-1; GDC Samba beat GDC Marh by 2-1 and PG Deptt JU beat GDC Kathua by 5-1.
The matches and Bouts were officiated by Dheeraj Menia, Abhishek, Dil Bhadur, Kartik Sharma and Gagan Kumar.
