JAMMU: “It is cheerful to God when you rejoice or laugh from the core of your heart”. Such powerful statement created the momentum while Dhanvi Choudhary from Grade 5th Falcon along with her classmates addressed the morning Assembly at JK Public School, Kunjwani.
“Laughter is a tonic with no side effects, as a life is lived to hilt when we laugh with our loved ones and celebrate it to the fullest. So, please ensure that you take it regularly”, she added
More substance was added to the content while Ananya Sharma pitched in and stated, “Laughter is like a magical potion that can heal our souls. When we laugh, it’s as if all our worries vanish into the air. It’s contagious and can spread joy like wildfire. Whether it’s a hearty chuckles or silly giggle, laughter has the power to lift our sprits and brighten our darkest days”.
“It’s universal language understood by all bridging gaps and fostering corrections. In moments of despair or pain, a good laugh can provide relief like no other remedy. So, let us embrace the laughter, as it really is the best medicine for our hearts and minds. Lastly, I would like to say that laughter draws people together in ways that rigger health, physical and emotional changes in the body”, added Aavya Shukla.
Vaidehi Sharma shared the impactful statement made by Walt Disney, “Laughter is a state of mind. It is just according to the way you look at things”.
Sana Jamwal enriched the audience with pearls of wisdom, gifted to us, by famous American actress Drew Barrymore, “Happiness is the best makeup”.
Aarav Singh Charak quoted Gautam Buddha and shared, “Learn to let go. That is the key to happiness”.
Sara Ali Khan enthralled the audience while quoting nuggets of wisdom from the father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi
Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore applauded all the presenters of the morning Assembly and shared his reflections on the topic stating, “Although humour is a God’s gift, which is bestowed upon a chosen few, yet we can polish our skills of humour by focusing on humorous content, voice modulation, facial expression, hand gestures, witty repartee and the timings”.
“I appeal to all the Class Teachers of Grades III to IX at JKPS Kunjwani to conduct a Laughter Challenge Contest in every section of every class, wherein students should be provided a creative platform to showcase their talent for humour and thus teachers should identify those students who are gifted in this domain. Students, gifted with wit & humour, must be equipped & empowered as Stand up Comedians. Progressive schools must run a Club for Stand up Comedians”, he summed up.
