JAMMU: In the 68th Basketball National School Games 2024-25, held from November 18 to 22, 2024 at Rajnandgaon, Chhattishgarh, Vedant Gupta of JK Public School marked his participation.
In the open Judo District Championship held from November 18 to 19, 2024 at MA Stadium Jammu, JK Public School won three gold, two silvers and two bronze medals.
In the Girls category, the winners were Taniya Thappa (Gold Medal), Divyanshi Damral (Gold Medal) and Saanvi Sharma (Silver Medal).
In the boys category, the winners were Shivan Singh (Gold Medal), Gurpreet Singh (Silver Medal), Mohammad Raza and Syed Musadiq, Bronze Medals each.
In addition, Taniya Thappa and Shivan Singh have been selected to play at State Level.
In the National Grappling Championship held from 24-25 Nov 2024 at University of Jammu, Gurpeet Singh won Bronze Medal.
Shashi Chaudhary, Director JK Educational Society and School Principal Rajesh Rathore congratulated the winners and felicitated in the school assembly for their brilliant performance. They also lauded the school coach Manoj Kumar Solanki, Ashwani Kumar and HOD (Sports) Subash Chander for training the students.
