JAMMU, Nov 29: The Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho (Women) Tournament 2024-25 concluded today at the Kho-Kho Ground, University of Jammu. Organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, the tournament saw enthusiastic participation from various affiliated colleges, offering players a platform to showcase their skills.
In an exciting final, the P.G. Department, University of Jammu, claimed the Kho-Kho (Women) title, defeating GCW Udhampur by 3 points (10-7). Earlier, in the semi-finals, PG Department, Jammu University, triumphed over GDC Kathua by 6 points, while GCW Udhampur secured their spot in the final by defeating GDC Ramnagar by 4 points.
Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director of the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, was the chief guest at the event, which was also attended by Vimal Kishore, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Vikas Karlopia, Gagan Kumar, Dr. Jasvinder Singh, Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Inderjeet Singh, Vandna Sharma, and other dignitaries, along with players and officials from the affiliated colleges of the University of Jammu.
The matches were officiated by Dheeraj Sharma, Palbinder Singh, Pooja Sharma, Jagdev Singh, Anil Kumar, and Gagan Kumar.
