The Government ordered the transfer of the ADC three weeks ago, but, according to locals, the position remains vacant.
Dr. Sheikh Jamsheed, a local resident, expressed concern over the delay in appointing a replacement, highlighting disruptions in essential services and a lack of coordination in daily governance.
“Several Government departments that rely on the ADC’s oversight have reported delays and bottlenecks in routine administrative processes,” he said.
Tawseef Ahmad, another local, said they are facing unnecessary delays in crucial work, and there is no clarity on when a new ADC will be appointed.
“The situation is becoming very challenging, and we hope the Government will take swift action to resolve this,” he said.
Another resident mentioned that the absence of the officer in the sub-district affects governance and ongoing development projects in the area.
