JAMMU, Nov 30: The Foundational Wing of Army Public School (APS), Miran Sahib, celebrated its Annual Day, ‘Utsav,’ with great enthusiasm on the school premises. The event was graced by the Chairman of APS, Brigadier of 162 Infantry Brigade, as the chief guest.
The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guest and the Principal, followed by a graceful Saraswati Vandana performed by Class II students. Headmistress Mamta Saroch addressed the gathering, sharing the school’s achievements and initiatives.
The tiny toddlers of the Foundational Wing captivated the audience with vibrant performances showcasing India’s diverse religious festivals. Parents and guests were enthralled by the delightful mix of entertaining and emotional moments throughout the program.
In his speech, the chief guest lauded the school’s efforts in organizing a flawless event and encouraged students and staff with words of inspiration. The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony for meritorious students. The celebration reflected the school’s commitment to holistic development and cultural appreciation.
