SRINAGAR, Dec 18: J&K Bank marked National Pensioners Day across its branches with a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening its relationship with pensioners.
The Bank celebrated the day by sending heartfelt SMS greetings to all pensioners and organizing special meets for pensioners, including family pensioners, at several branches.
During these interactions, bank officials extended warm greetings, listened to suggestions, and addressed any concerns.
They also provided information about banking products and services designed to improve the financial convenience of senior citizens, focusing on personalized solutions and cross-selling opportunities.
At the Shalamar Branch in Jammu, a special pension counter was inaugurated by General Manager and Divisional Head (Jammu) Sunit Kumar, in line with RBI guidelines to provide a more comfortable service experience for pensioners.
Additionally, the Bank launched a nostalgic video series titled “Yadoon Ki Jama Poonji” on its social media platforms. The series honors the Bank’s longstanding relationships with its pensioners, former staff members and customers, celebrating its legacy of trust and commitment.
MD & CEO of the bank Baldev Prakash commented, “National Pensioners Day gives us an opportunity to honour the valuable contributions of our pensioners and senior citizens. Through initiatives like Pensioners’ Meets and ‘Yadoon Ki Jama Poonji’, we reaffirm our commitment to meeting their needs and strengthening our bond with them.”
The video series, ‘Yadoon Ki Jama Poonji’, reflects the shared memories and deep-rooted connection between the Bank and its long-time customers, marking a legacy of mutual respect and trust.
