JAMMU, Dec 19: Movement Kalki has flayed discrimination with Hindi and Sanskrit languages in recruitment of 10+2 lecturers.
Addressing a press conference here today, Pawan Sharma, Movement Kalki member said the bias is clearly visible in education sector where languages like Hindi, Sanskrit and Dogri are being neglected.
He also condemned the baton charging of ABVP students by cops and termed it undemocratic.
Movement Kalki members expressed concern over the failure of the government to recruit teachers for Hindi, Sanskrit and Dogri languages.
They flayed the decision to prioritize only English and Urdu at the cost of other languages.
Movement Kalki extended support to the students’ demands, emphasizing that Hindi is our mother language and Sanskrit is a cornerstone of our ancient heritage.
Activists of Movement Kalki have urged the government to ensure fair treatment with all the languages and cultures.
Movement Kalki members including Thakur Karnail Chand, Pawan Sharma, Sanjeev Dubey, Kamal Kishore and Kewal Sharma were also present on the occasion.
