Deepak elected Ware House Traders Federation prez

JAMMU, Dec 21: Deepak Gupta has been elected unopposed as president of the Traders Federation Ware House, Nehru Market, Jammu.
Today was the last day to file nomination for the new team of the Federation but no other candidate filed nomination for the post of president. Thus, Chief Election Officer Rajesh Bhagotra and his team members Atul Khanna, Krishna P Gupta, Sudesh Gupta and Sunil Kumar Gupta declared Deepak Gupta as president of the Federation.
This was the first time in the 60-years history of the Federation that a candidate has been elected unopposed to the post of president. Deepak Gupta first contested the election for the post of general secretary of the Federation in 2015 and won by a huge margin.
After this, in the Federation Elections in 2018, Deepak Gupta was elected general secretary unopposed. In the 2021 elections, Deepak Gupta contested the election for the post of president and by defeating his opponent by a margin of more than 300 votes, he became the youngest president of the Federation.
After being elected unopposed as the president of the Federation, Deepak Gupta said that the Federation members have increased the responsibility on him and he will try to live up to the expectations of his members.
