PRSI Dehradun honors Chhattisgarh’s Dy CM

JAMMU, Dec 21: Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), Dehradun Chapter, honored Chhattisgarh’s Deputy Chief Minister, Vijay Sharma, during the national convention in Raipur. On the occasion, the Deputy CM was presented with a symbol of Kedarnath, a Brahma Kamal cap and a booklet on Uttarakhand’s development.
The PRSI national convention is being held in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, from December 20 to 23. Members of the Dehradun Chapter are actively participating in this grand event.
PRSI Dehradun Chapter president Ravi Bijarnia, secretary Anil Sati, treasurer Suresh Bhatt and vice president A M Tripathi shared insights about Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s initiative to promote winter yatra at the winter abodes of the Char Dham. An invitation was extended to the Deputy Chief Minister to visit Uttarakhand for the winter yatra.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Sharma appreciated the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of Uttarakhand, reminiscing about his past visits to the State. He remarked that Uttarakhand, the “Land of Gods,” holds immense reverence in the hearts of all Indians.
During the event, a short film showcasing Uttarakhand’s developmental milestones was screened, and the Information Department’s booklet titled “Sankalp: Towards Sustainable Development” was distributed.
The Brahma Kamal cap, a symbol of Uttarakhand’s rich cultural heritage and traditions, gained special recognition at the PRSI national convention. Members of PRSI Dehradun wore the Brahma Kamal caps throughout the event, and these were also presented to participants from other states, who admired their unique design.
The event was graced by PRSI National president Dr Ajit Pathak, along with PRSI Dehradun members Vaibhav Goel, Anil Verma, Ajay Dabral, Mahesh, Deepak Kumar, Ishan and Kajal.
