Google conducts workshop at Jodhamal School

JAMMU, Dec 22: Jodhamal Public School hosted the Google Super Researchers Programme in collaboration with Mahattattva, an educational partner of the school, reaffirming its commitment to promoting research and information literacy among teachers. The event attracted registrations from 11 schools, with over 350 participants coming together for a day of collaborative learning and creativity.
The workshop was led by Vibha Puri, Manager EdTech at Mahattattva, who facilitated two immersive sessions. These sessions, ‘Google Super Searchers’ and ‘Gemini Academy: The Artificial Intelligence Platform of Google,’ offered participants a comprehensive learning experience. The goal was to train teachers in cutting-edge technology and help them stay updated on the latest advancements in the technical field. The sessions also focused on using Google tools to enhance teaching methods for Generation Z and Generation Alpha, creating engaging learning environments for today’s digital natives.
Participants explored advanced tools and techniques for evaluating online information, mastering search methodologies, and responsibly incorporating AI into educational practices. Topics ranging from technology to social issues were discussed, reflecting the participants’ commitment to fostering positive societal change.
Girish Kumar, Principal of Jodhamal Public School, emphasized the importance of empowering educators with 21st-century skills. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Amita Arora, Vice Principal, expressing gratitude to Google, Mahattattva, and the school management. All participants received e-certificates for their efforts.
