J&K branch of ICAI hosts residential 2-day sub-regional conference

JAMMU, Dec 22: Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organized a residential two-day sub-regional conference at Patnitop.
The Conference, held under the chairmanship of Vineet Kohli brought together members of the ICAI, their families, and renowned experts in the field.
Chairman of the Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) of ICAI, graced the conference. He addressed the gathering about the ICAI’s achievements and growth in nation-building. Vineet Kohli delivered the keynote address on the role of Chartered Accountants in contributing to the development of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Conference featured insightful sessions by speakers, including Suneel Magoo, who deliberated on stock audits and Gaurav Goyal, who shared his expertise on international taxation. Rajendra Shah engaged the audience and their family members in various team-building activities, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and collaboration.
Sourav Pargal, vice chairman of the J&K Branch, skillfully conducted the proceedings, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for all attendees. The Conference was also attended by Vikas Pardhani, Nakul Saraf, past chairmen and Priya Seht, secretary of the J&K branch, along with numerous members from across J&K and outside the State, accompanied by their families.
