The district administration and Municipal Corporation in Sambhal have commenced the revival of 68 pilgrimage sites and 19 ancient wells, including the Mrityu Koop. Excavation of the encroached well started near the Jama mosque, with efforts aimed at restoring ancient heritage linked to Sambhal’s historical significance.
