JAMMU: Under the Banner of J and K Sports Council, Body Building Association JandK (BBAJK) on Saturday honoured Vikas Khajuria for winning silver medal in 1ST National Physique Sports championship organized from December 21 to 22TH 2024 at Gurgaon, Haryana.
Vikas Khajuria trained by coach and trainer Rajesh Dutta BBAJK. Rajesh Dutta Presented certificate and Silver medal to Vikas Bakshi.
Rajesh Dutta Address, the Championship aimed not only to promote sportsmanship but also to encourage the youth of J AND K UT to engage in healthy activities and move away from social evils, including the growing problem of drug addiction in the region. He stated, ‘The increasing prevalence of drug addiction is a serious threat to our society. Events like the Body Building championship provide an excellent platform to engage the youth in positive pursuits, keeping them away from such destructive habits. It is our collective responsibility to encourage sports and other constructive activities to build a healthier and brighter future for our younger generation’’.
Vinay Sharma Vice President BBAJK said ,’’The outstanding performance marks a proud moment for the UT, showcasing the exceptional talent and determination of J and K’S athletes on the national stage.’’
He appealed youth to join sports and educate the youth of the country to the nation Nasha Mukht.
In the end, Sachin Singh Jamwal was also present on the occasion and congratulated the members of the Association for organizing the event, who are providing a better platform to the youth.
