Christmas Gold Cup Football: Pegasus FC, Nagrota FC emerge winners

JAMMU, Jan 4: In the ongoing 18th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament 2024-25 at Mini Stadium Parade Ground, Jammu, today the first match was played between Pegasus FC and Surankot FC and the Pegasus FC won the match by 5-4 via Tie-Breaker.
Goals were scored by Arjun, Mahi, Ahassan, Sarmad and Vishal of Pegasus FC while for Surankot FC, the goals were scored by Ayan, Umar, Dawood and Yasir.
The second match was played between Nagrota FC and Katra FC in which Nagrota FC won by 4-3 via Tie-Breaker.
The tournament has been organised by All J&K Sports and Cultural Welfare Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council & J&K Football Association.
The chief guest in today’s matches was Kuldip Singh, Senior National Player & Senior Vice President DFA Jammu.
He was accompanied by Ramesh Chander, International Player; Yousaf Don, Organisation Secretary; Satpal Singh, Manager Parade Ground, Jammu: David Masih, Football Coach; Rajesh Sumbria, Kamaljeet Kumar, Mohd. Shuja, Rattan Lal and Charanpreet Singh.
The Referees were Dheeraj Meenia, Rohitdeep Singh, Aman Sudan and Kartik Sharma.
