JAMMU, Feb 3: Bhim Sen Tuti, the 2004 batch IPS officer of erstwhile J&K cadre (now AGMUT), today took over the charge of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone from outgoing ADGP Jammu Zone, Anand Jain.
Upon his arrival in Jammu, the officer was given a warm welcome by DIG JSK Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma, along with other senior officers from the district.
Prior to his posting as IGP Jammu Zone, Tuti has served in the Police Department in different capacities, including SDPO Jammu East, Additional SP Sopore, SP Leh, SP Kishtwar, DIG JSK Range (two times), DIG DKR Range, and IGP Headquarters/POS PHQ J&K.
During service, he also remained on deputation to Jharkhand and UT of Ladakh as SP and DIG.
