Book translated in Dogri launched at World Book Fair

JAMMU, Feb 4: Collection of Hindi poetry “Jitthun Tagar Nazar Jandi Ai”, written by eminent satirist and litterateur Lalitya Lalit, translated into Dogri by eminent Dogri litterateur and respected translator Yashpaul Nirmal was launched today in the World Book Fair, New Delhi.
On this occasion, convener of Sarv Bhasha Trust, Keshav Mohan Pandey, original author of the book Lalitya Lalit, Dr Harisuman Bisht (former Secretary, Hindi Academy, Government of Delhi), Prof Rajesh Kumar (former Director National Open School, Government of India), Ranavijay Rao (Joint Director, Lok Sabha Secretariat) Tarindra Kaur, Punjabi poet and translator, Soni Laxmi Rao were present.
Speaking on this occasion, Lalitya Lalit said that translation acts as a bridge in literature and Yashpaul Nirmal is building a literary bridge by doing original writing as well as translation work in various languages, which is a commendable work.
Keshav Mohan Pandey gave information about various books published in Dogri language by Sarv Bhasha Trust, New Delhi.
