JAMMU, Feb 5: Dr Narinder Singh, BJP National Secretary and MLA from RS Pura-Jammu South, along with Choudhary Vikram Randhawa, MLA from Bahu, held a public darbar at the BJP Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, here.
As per a statement, citizens from various parts of the city met with the leaders to voice their concerns and seek prompt solutions to ongoing issues.
Among the grievances raised were concerns from Nawabad, Sunjwan about lanes, drains, and electric poles.
Residents of Sainik Colony reported non-functional streetlights and called for the construction of lanes and drains.
A deputation from Last Morh Gandhi Nagar sought improvements in civil infrastructure, while Gangyal residents requested cleaning of drains.
Additionally, two deputations from Ashok Nagar and Nai Basti highlighted leakage issues in drinking water supply pipes.
Dr Narinder Singh, while addressing the issues, emphasized the importance of a people-centered approach in governance.
He criticized the NC Government for failing to prioritize citizens’ needs and stressed the necessity for a popular Government in the region to resolve such issues in a timely manner.
Dr Singh called on the NC Government to focus on resolving public grievances rather than making political statements.
Vikram Randhawa assured the public that BJP remains committed to solving their issues efficiently.
He mentioned that many concerns were addressed on the spot, while written and verbal communications were sent to the relevant authorities for further action.
