J&K Speedball team flagged off for Inter-State C’ship

JAMMU, Feb 5: Jammu and Kashmir Sports Speedball Association organized a one-day free sports seminar to prepare players for the upcoming Inter-State Speedball Championship, set to take place from February 7 to 9 at Palampur, Himachal Pradesh.
The event was graced by Raman Bhalla, ex-Minister, as the chief guest, while Jai Sidh Bhalla and Pooja Malhotra (Founder Patron) attended as the guests of honour. The selection of the team was finalized under the guidance of Renu Nanda, Joint Secretary of JKSSA.
The selection camp saw the participation of 40 aspiring players, from which 25 were chosen to represent Jammu and Kashmir at the prestigious championship. Selected players hail from various renowned institutions.
Raman Bhalla praised the team for its consistent performance in previous years and offered his best wishes to the players. He also acknowledged the hard work of the coaches, including Sahil Janjua, Gurvansh Choudhary and others. On this occasion, the JK Speedball Association also distributed speedball rackets and shirts to the selected players to equip them for the competition.
