They pointed out that about 754 casual labours/ workers were engaged in the J&K Wildlife Department. They are now working for the last 10 to 15 years. The Director Finance had asked the Wildlife authorities to submit the list of these casual workers by name.
All these workers have been shifted to CAMPA Scheme. The workers are demanding that they should be put on the list of Outsource Head 364 (Non-plan) instead of CAMPA Scheme.
The casual workers are facing lot of hardships in getting their dues as well. They demanded that Regional Wildlife authorities be directed to compile the list and forward the same to the higher authorities, so that further matter is taken up at the appropriate level.
