J&K Agri Technocrats take up issues with CM

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Feb 6: The Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JAKATA) president Surinder Radotra has raised two key concerns that affect the welfare of Agriculture Technocrats in Jammu and Kashmir before the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. These concerns include the delayed promotions of in-charge JAEO’s in both Jammu and Kashmir divisions, which were due in 2017, and have significantly lowered employee morale and the inclusion of rehbar service into regular service from 2007 onwards, vital for better post retirement prospects.
The Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association urged the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir to take immediate action to resolve these grievances.
A joint delegation of Agriculture Officers, led by Surinder Radotra, stressed the importance of addressing these core issues.
The delegation also highlighted their contributions during Rehbar service, including implementing Central Sponsored Schemes, departmental duties and supporting other departments such as the 2011 census .
They emphasized the need for service consideration for the welfare of aggrieved agriculture technocrats.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah patiently heard the delegation’s concerns and assured the delegation for early redressal.
Other notable attendees included Sheikh Arshed, Sajjad, Fareen Malik and others.
