JAMMU, Feb 7: The students of Doon Defense Academy (DDA) Devendra Singh, Lalit, Rinku Kumar, Vishnu Pathak and Kapil Singh Chauhan have been selected in the Indian Air Force through Agniveer Yojana.
After completing their training, they reached DDA today and shared their bittersweet experiences with the students.
Academy Director, Sandeep Gupta congratulated them and as per tradition, gave 10 thousand rupees each in cash as a blessing.
Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Gupta motivated the students and said that Agniveer Yojana is not a halt, but a stop.
“If you fail to cross the hurdles of NDA, then Agniveer Yojana is a better way to join the Armed Forces, which not only changes your way of living but also opens new paths ahead.”
While sharing his experience with the students, DDA Diamonds attributed his success to the Academy Director Sandeep Gupta, faculty and staff along with the study material.
They also described weekly tests and mock tests as the key to success.
Regarding the Agniveer Yojana, they said that it is a good scheme.
“NDA was our first priority, but not everyone can clear NDA. Agniveer Yojana gives you a chance to join the Armed Forces which opens the path ahead for you,” they added.
On this occasion, DDA Center Head Umesh Kuniyal, Academic Head Uday Mehra, faculty and staff were also present.
