A gentle soul, a loving heart,
My mother, a work of art.
With kindness and care, she guides me through,
A constant presence, forever true.
Her smile, a ray of sunshine bright,
Lights up my world, and makes everything right.
Her laughter, music to my ears,
A joy that’s contagious, and despels all fears.
With every step, with every fall,
She’s there to catch me, through it all.
Her patience and wisdom, a treasure so rare,
A gift that I cherish, and show I care.
In her eyes, a deep love shines,
A love that’s unconditional, and forever mine.
She’s my rock, my shelter, my guiding light,
My mother, my everything, my delight.
So here’s to my mother, a tribute to her love,
A celebration of the gift, sent from above.
I’m grateful for her presence, in my life each day,
And cherish every moment in every way.

The Garden of Eden
Chinar Losing its burnt yellow,
I saw a dream with open eyes
My fingers touch the cool waters of Dal.
My eyes less open and more shut
In haze I heard laughter and chatter
Every lip with a story to tell
Every heart welcoming
Souls for refuge in their land’s serenity.
Both conflict and history woven
Into the fibers of Pashmina
Finding her latent truth, both divine and tragic.
I laid as sun’s rays shut my eyes more
My mouth smelled of Zafran
Zulfi rowed the Shikara.
Lotuses floating in the calm flow
As the woman picked them up
And loaded in her tiny boat
I saw a glimpse of Eden.

New Hope
Old year shed like the leaves of a tree.
No matter how bad it was, lift your eyes and see
The delight of a new angel who is coming to you.
Whose face is bright and whose eyes are blue.
Little stranger knows nothing about you.
The old one never told your stories to him.
As you were too lost in crowd like others.
He knew nothing about you and your whim.
But its an inception for you.
Its the time to become ‘MAN OF YOUR DREAMS’.
The old year is sleeping in his grave and
The new one knows nothing about you….! !
