MSJK protests demanding ban on liquor sale

JAMMU, Feb 22: Activists of Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Sunil Dimple demanding a ban on liquor sale in J&K and Ladakh.
Addressing the protesters, Dimple urged J&K Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and LG Manoj Sinha to pass a Bill in the Assembly to ban the sale of liquor.
He said that they will expose the parties and MLAs opposing liquor ban Bill.
The MSJK leader claimed that BJP is not interested in banning the sale of liquor in J&K and claimed the support of many leaders from Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regarding liquor ban.
“There should be life imprisonment or death penalty for drug peddlers,” he maintained demanding the arrest of all drug peddlers to save the youth.
Dimple threatened to start an agitation across J&K if ban on liquor sale is not imposed soon.
Mohinder Kumar, Dev Raj, Mohd Ameen, Mohd Ali, Akbar Khan, Mohd Shafi, Nazier Ahmad, Deepak Kumar, Sanjay, Vilas, Bilo, Arun, Kala and many others were also present in the protest.
