AP: TTD Chairman requests states to allot free space for construction of Srivari temple

TIRUMALA, Mar 4: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board Chairman BR Naidu on Tuesday requested several states to allot free space for construction of Srivari temple in all state capitals in the country.
Naidu requested the Chief Ministers of several states through a letter upon the instructions of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that all the state capitals of the country should allocate some free space towards the construction of Srivari temple.
Temples are not just spiritual centres alone but also contribute to the development of society, the TTD Chairman in his letter stated and said temple tourism plays a crucial role in the development of the country.
He said that everyone is taking steps towards spirituality and there should be Srivari temples in all the major parts of the country as well.
Crores of devotees donate to the temples. We are spending them on other service programs including education and medicine. “Temples play a major role in preserving our culture and heritage, ” Naidu added.
