JAMMU, Mar 4: The registration process for admission to the 2025-26 session at Doon Defence Academy (DDA) has officially begun.
As per a statement, interested students can now register online for various defence courses and secure their seats through the academy’s website at www.doondefenceacademy.com.
Sandeep Gupta, the Director of DDA, stated that the academy is offering admission to students aspiring to join the NDA, Army, Navy, Air Force, CDSC, OTA, MNS, and Merchant Navy.
Additionally, students from classes 8th to 12th who wish to prepare for NDA or the Merchant Navy alongside their regular schooling can apply for the Foundation Course “Pratham Pag 03.”
Gupta further mentioned that the crash course for the NDA and CDSC written exams, scheduled for April 13, 2025, will begin on March 7, 2025.
According to him, the first batch for the 2025-26 session started on March 3, and new batches will begin on April 14, 21, and 28.
He emphasized that admission is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and seats are limited.
Over the last 20 years, DDA has helped more than 13,500 students serve in the Indian Armed Forces and Merchant Navy, making it a prestigious institution in the region.
As part of the academy’s tradition, students selected for the Armed Forces are awarded Rs. 10,000 as a blessing, while those passing the NDA and CDS exams receive Rs. 1,000 each.
