JAMMU, Mar 5: Amidst the ongoing budget session, the Congress Legislators today met the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in his office chambers and discussed various issues of public concern & common goal of providing good governance & fulfilling the pre- poll promises made to the people by the coalition.
Led by the president JKPCC Tariq Hameed Karra and Leader of the Congress Legislature party G A Mir, the meeting discussed the issues of broader public interest including the common goals of early restoration of Statehood, good governance and achieving sustainable peace .
Acknowledging the challenges ahead and realising the difficulties in the early redressal of priority political objectives, the meeting decided to work together to accomplish the common goals of public interest , in the light of promises to the people, as pre – poll allies.
MLAs Peerzada Mohd Sayeed, Nizzammudin Bhat,Irfan Hafiz Lone & Iftikhar Ahmed also attended and took part in the discussions which lasted for around forty five minutes.
