JAMMU, Mar 8: As many as 37 unfair means- cases were framed against the students found indulging in irregular practices during surprise inspections conducted by vigilance squads constituted by BOSE.
The board has constituted 40 teams, which fanned over across the length and breadth of the Union Territory for guarding integrity of the examinations.
The superintendents of these centers were directed to be cautious in future and ensure that there is no recurrence of such incidents.
The examinations were conducted in smooth and transparent manner, as the invigilator staff has been found quite vigilant in the conduct of the examinations in the wake of strict instructions from the Board.
The BOSE reiterates its commitment to fair and transparent conduct of the examinations, while upholding the trust of students and parents in the interest of protecting merit and fairness.
