JAMMU: JK Group of College marked International Women’s Day with a grand celebration highlighting the importance of Women’s empowerment, gender equality and social awareness.
The event was led by Shashi Chaudhary, Director, J K Educational Society who emphasized the need for continuous efforts towards women’s rights and recognition.
The program included motivational speeches, cultural performances and discussions on women’s achievements and challenges.
Faculty members and students actively participated, sharing their views on the role of women in shaping the society. Various activities focused on women’s education, safety and leadership were conducted to encourage awareness and change the mindset of the people.
The programme concluded with some fun games and dance by students.
