JAMMU, Mar 9: Jammu and Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF), Jammu province, convened a meeting to deliberate on various welfare initiatives for healthcare employees.
The session, held at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, was chaired by Sushil Sudan and Jaswinder Singh, the newly appointed chairman and president of JKMEF, respectively.
The meeting witnessed the participation of over 40 representatives, including presidents of sister organizations under the JKMEF umbrella and district presidents. Comprehensive discussions were held to strategize the strengthening of the federation and advancing welfare initiatives for healthcare employees.
A key resolution adopted during the meeting was to route significant demands through MLAs to ensure their timely and effective resolution in the public interest. Additionally, other crucial demands will be submitted to the appropriate authorities for expedited consideration to benefit healthcare employees.
Prominent JKMEF representatives present at the meeting included Bahadur Singh (working president), Parfulat Singh, Dheeraj Sharma, Onkar Singh, Mohd Nadeem, Bharat Bhushan, Neeraj Kumar, Sunil Chauhan, Anita Kumari, Gagan Singh, Kartar Singh, Arti Devi, Vikas Sabharwal, Sorab Bakshi, Sanjay Choudhary, Harpal Singh, Shaffket Hussain and Tejinder Singh.
