JAMMU, Mar 10: Under CSR initiative, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle donated an ambulance to Serve Humanity, Serve God Charitable Trust, in a function held here today.
The ambulance was donated in the presence of Binod Kumar Mishra, Deputy Managing Director (HR & CDO), Rajeev Kumar, Chief General Manager, (HR), Corporate Centre Mumbai, Krishan Sharma, Chief General Manager, SBI Chandigarh Circle, staff members of Local Head Office and representatives from the NGO.
The NGO headed by Swaranjeet Singh (President) operates from Village Madenhari, Kharar, Punjab focusing on rehabilitating and supporting spinal cord injury (SCI) patients.
The NGO gives free of cost treatment.
In a statement issued, SBI said, “Through this endeavor the Bank has emphasized its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. This initiative reflects our deep-rooted commitment to community welfare.”
