‘Sikhs 4 All’ begins housing project for underprivileged

JAMMU, Mar 11: Sikhs 4 All foundation has initiated the construction of houses for underprivileged families in Sikligarh Colony, Govind Pura (Chatha).
Chairman Manjit Singh highlighted the Foundation’s seven-year-long commitment to social service, focusing on free education and computer training for underprivileged children. The Foundation currently operates two modern computer centers in Digiana Camp and Miran Sahib, along with a free library facility.
Previously, the Foundation constructed two houses in Sikligarh Colony and has now identified nine more for development. Construction of a house for Mohan Lal, a needy resident, commenced today, with future projects dependent on donor support.
DDC member Taranjit Singh Tony was also present on the occasion. He pledged full support to the Foundation. Other dignitaries present included N P Singh, Jasmeet Singh, Rajinder Singh, T P Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Ravinder Singh, Mohinder Singh and Kamal Singh, president of the local Gurudwara.
