Sham Lal meets veterans, promises time-bound solutions

JAMMU: A meeting of ex-servicemen was held on Saturday in Domana, falling under the Jammu North Assembly Constituency, under the leadership of retired Brigadier Balbir Singh Sambyal (Sena Medal).
The event witnessed the presence of several decorated veterans, including Captain Paras Ram Sharma, former Sarpanch Shamsher Singh, and many other ex-servicemen from Jammu North Constituency .

MLA Jammu North Assembly Constituency, Sham Lal Sharma, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion, paid tribute to the immense sacrifices and unwavering dedication of the Indian armed forces.
He assured the gathering that their concerns will be given top priority and conveyed his deep respect and commitment towards the welfare of veterans.
During the interactive session, the ex-servicemen raised several pressing issues, including poor road connectivity, irregular drinking water supply, lack of proper sanitation facilities, and problems related to delayed and inflated electricity bills.
Sharma gave a patient hearing to each concern and assured that he would personally take up these matters with the concerned departments for swift resolution.
Sharma emphasized his progressive and proactive approach towards addressing the needs of his constituency. He assured the attendees that all the issues raised in the meeting would be taken seriously and resolved in a time-bound manner through coordinated efforts with the concerned departments.
Sham Lal further added that he would issue clear directions to the administrative machinery to ensure that all public-related concerns-especially those related to road infrastructure, drinking water supply, sanitation, and electricity-are addressed on priority. He reaffirmed his commitment to transparent and responsive governance, where public service delivery is prompt and effective.
Sham also took the opportunity to thank all the workers, supporters, and well-wishers for their relentless commitment and devotion during the recent elections. He stated that their hard work and unity created a strong aura not only around him but also around the Bharatiya Janata Party, strengthening the party’s presence and connect with the people of the Constituency.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks and a renewed sense of solidarity among the veteran community.
