MSJK protests against hike in LPG, petrol prices

JAMMU, Apr 8: Activists of Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) here today staged a protest demonstration against the increase in prices of LPG cylinders, petrol and diesel.
The protest was led by MSJK leader, Sunil Dimple who said that the Government should bring the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG under GST.
He also claimed that the Government has also increased the prices of milk, food grains, edibles etc due to which the poor families are unable to make two ends meet.
“Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah should provide free 200 units of electricity, 12 free LPG cylinders and double ration supply to all the families in J&K,” the MSJK leader maintained adding: “The government should roll back the increased LPG, petrol and diesel prices else there will be an agitation.”
Ram, Jetinder Gupta, Dev Raj, Vipan, Mukesh, Ram Kumar Das, Mohinder, Nazir, Shafi and many others were also present in the protest.
