SRINAGAR, Apr 9: Kashmiri doctor and columnist Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo has been awarded with the prestigious International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Fellowship.
The IDF Fellowship acknowledges Dr Itoo’s contributions in promoting diabetes care, education, and advocacy in the community.
The title of Fellow of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF Fellow) is an honorary title awarded to healthcare professionals working in the field of diabetes. IDF Fellows may be called upon to participate in the activities of the Federation, from conferences and research to education and advocacy.
Dr Itoo is also affiliated with many prestigious medical organizations including American College of Physicians (USA), Royal College of Physicians of London and Edinburgh, and Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI).
