Dr Varun Suthra represents India at Int’l cybersecurity conference in Poland

WARSAW, Apr 10: The 2nd International Scientific Conference titled “The Multidimensionality of Cybersecurity: Hate Speech in Cyberspace” concluded successfully at the Helena Chodkowska University of Technology and Economics (UTH), Warsaw.
The prestigious gathering brought together leading experts, policymakers, and academics from across Europe and beyond to address the growing threat of hate speech in the digital world.
Dr Varun Suthra, Director, International Relations, KIIT University, was invited as a keynote speaker and member of the scientific committee. His presentation, “Cybersecurity in the Age of Hate: Protecting Minds, Machines, and Democracies”, received wide appreciation from the academic community, cyber experts, and policymakers present.
Dr Suthra emphasized the urgent need to build global resilience against digital hatred and misinformation, outlining strategies rooted in ethics, policy, and international collaboration.
The conference was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitisation of Poland, Dr Krzysztof Gawkowski, who also served as the chief guest. He acknowledged Dr Suthra’s insightful address and appreciated the contribution of international voices in shaping inclusive cyber policies.
This event marked yet another milestone in strengthening Indo-Polish academic and technological cooperation.
