UDHAMPUR, Apr 11: A young man committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his house near MH Road Udhampur.
A police spokesman said that Dheeraj (34), son of Bharat Jain, resident of near MH Road Udhampur, consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. The family members noticed him in serious condition and rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Later, the body was sent for post-mortem. After completion of all the legal formalities and post-mortem, body was handed over to the family members.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police have registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
