JAMMU: In a spirited celebration of vision, collaboration, and commitment to excellence, JK Public School, Kunjwani hosted its much-anticipated Induction-cum-Orientation programme for teachers at the prestigious Nelsum Millennium Hall. The event marked a heartfelt welcome to the newly inducted educators, now proud members of the ever-growing JKPS Kunjwani family.

The occasion was graced by Raj Daluja, Chairman, JK Educational Society; Shashi Chaudhary, Director; Gautam Daluja, Member, School Management; Rajesh Rathore, Principal; Roopinder Kaur, Vice Principal; Inderjeet Kaur, School Coordinator; Anju Raj, Primary Wing Coordinator; and Shivangani Pandotra, Coordinator of Toddlers’ World, along with the entire teaching fraternity of the school.
In his welcome address, Principal Rajesh Rathore extended his warmest greetings to the dignitaries and congratulated the JK Educational Society on its enduring legacy of educational excellence since its inception in 1992. He eloquently emphasized the need to recalibrate educational strategies in the face of a rapidly evolving world. Urging teachers to embrace life skills, soft skills, and value-based education, he reiterated the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are equipped for the uncertainties of the future.
Rathore further highlighted the school’s strategic implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), embedding them meaningfully into the school curriculum to empower students as global citizens. He called upon teachers to remain lifelong learners-constantly updating and upgrading their skills to meet the dynamic demands of 21st-century education. “Quality education,” he affirmed, “is not merely about academic excellence, but about shaping compassionate, creative, and competent individuals who will go on to build a better world.”
Chairman Raj Daluja, in his inspiring address, lauded the teaching staff for their steadfast dedication and commended their role in elevating the institution’s academic and co-curricular benchmarks. He shared his visionary roadmap for the holistic development of students, placing strong emphasis on character building, nation-building, and the creation of socially responsible leaders. His motivating words stirred a renewed sense of purpose among the educators present.
The formal session transitioned into a heartwarming musical interlude, where teachers delighted the audience with timeless melodies, rekindling nostalgic memories. The highlight of the evening was Principal Rajesh Rathore’s soulful rendition of the Kishore Kumar classic “Aati rahengi baharein…”, which received thunderous applause and resonated deeply with the spirit of camaraderie in the hall.
The programme concluded with a lavish lunch, where the hallmark hospitality of JKPS Kunjwani was on full display. The delectable cuisine and warm fellowship added a fitting finale to an afternoon of inspiration, reflection, and renewed commitment.
