JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and MLA East Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi On Saturday called upon BJP workers to intensify grassroots outreach and work with renewed dedication to further strengthen the party’s ideological foundation across all segments of society.
He was addressing a well-attended Active Member Sammelan organized for the East Constituency.
The event witnessed the presence of senior BJP leader and former Minister Priya Sethi, District President Rajesh Gupta, Rajinder Sharma ex Mayor, Rajiv Charak Prabhari, Mandal Presidents Adarsh Jaitiyar, Shiv Shamra and Swati Sharma, Sumit Raina and Ravi Kant General Secretary, prominent party functionaries, office bearers, and hundreds of active members who have consistently worked to expand BJP’s footprint in Jammu East.
In his address, Yudhvir Sethi reminded the cadre of the party’s rich legacy rooted in the sacrifices and vision of stalwarts like Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, and Pt. Prem Nath Dogra. “It is our responsibility to carry forward their ideals of nationalism, integrity, and service to the nation. The East Constituency must continue to be a stronghold of these values,” he said.
Yudhvir lauded the transformational leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that the last eleven years have witnessed a silent yet powerful revolution in governance. “Be it Swachh Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, or digital empowerment through DBT – every initiative of Modi ji has touched the lives of the common people,” he added.
Highlighting the need to convert public support into electoral strength, Priya Sethi emphasized the role of every karyakarta in spreading BJP’s message of inclusive development, good governance, and national security.
The former Minister urged the workers to maintain constant touch with the people, address their concerns, and serve as BJP’s true ambassadors on the ground.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajinder Sharma ex Mayor emphasized the importance of collective efforts and organizational discipline in securing BJP’s victory in the upcoming elections. “Each of you is a pillar of the party. With your continued commitment, the East Constituency will once again set an example of unmatched dedication and organizational strength,” he said.
District President Rajesh Gupta, in his remarks, praised the dedication of BJP workers in East Constituency and credited the Modi-led government for bringing peace, progress, and prosperity to Jammu and Kashmir.
Rajiv Charak encouraged the cadre to continue working with zeal and ensure every household is aware of the BJP’s developmental agenda.
The Sammelan concluded with a call for unity, service, and unwavering commitment to the party’s principles. The resounding enthusiasm of the active members marked the beginning of a more vigorous outreach campaign across the constituency.
