JAMMU, Apr 12: In a proud moment for Jammu & Kashmir, Raju Sharma, president of the Jammu & Kashmir Baseball Association, has been elected as the vice-president of the Amateur Baseball Federation of India (ABFI).
The elections were held today in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, under the supervision of retired Odisha High Court Judge Debadras Das. Pankaj Lochan Mohanty from Odisha was elected as the new president of ABFI.
Confirming the development, Bilal Ahmad, secretary of the J&K Baseball Association, said Sharma’s election marks a significant achievement for the region’s growing baseball community.
Baseball players and officials across J&K expressed their delight over Sharma’s appointment.
