NCR wins 17th Junior National Super Seven Cricket C’ship

JAMMU, Apr 20: The 17th Junior National Super Seven Cricket Championship concluded with great enthusiasm at MA Stadium, Jammu. Organized by Ridhima Sports Club India in collaboration with the Super Seven Cricket Federation of India, the event featured young talents from 14 states and union territories.
NCR clinched the championship title after a thrilling final against Andhra Pradesh, receiving a cash prize of Rs 15,000. Andhra Pradesh, the runner-up, was awarded Rs 12,000, while Jammu & Kashmir secured third place with Rs 10,000.
Senior Congress leader and DDC Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony, attended as chief guest. He praised the players’ dedication and called the tournament a nursery for Team India’s future stars. Other dignitaries present included Charanjit Singh Raina (Director, Citizen Cooperative Bank), Jasmeet Singh (State Coordinator), Jatinder Singh, Surinder Singh, Varyam Singh, Upendra Singh and Ajay Sharma. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, celebrating young cricketing talent across India.
