MPSAT distributes Rs 4.60 lakh among needy

JAMMU, Apr 28: Mochi Phale Seth Athrot Trust (MPSAT) held its 19th Annual General Body meeting here, today.
Besides its members galaxy of KP leaders and presidents of various community organizations participated.
R L Bhat treasurer of the Trust apprised the meeting that about the Rs 4.60 lakh were distributed among the needy in 2024-25.
Chairman of the MPSAT Veer Ji Bhat said that since its formation in 1997 approximately sixty lakh amount stands distributed among needy in the previous years. Hard earned money contributions by 140 members of Trust on monthly basis made this sort of help to needy possible, he added.
A K Dhar Gowhar former general secretary of the Trust recited his poem on plight of KP community who is leading 36th year in exile.
Galaxy of KP leaders who spoke on this occasion included M L Malla, president All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC), K K Khosa president KP Sabha Jammu , A K Raina president Amar Balidan Trust, Kashmiri Lal Bhat convener Pt Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust, P L Sudeshi president ADKUF, Prof Girdari Lal Koul chief advisor ADKUF, Sharda Nandan Bhat, chief advisor ASKPC, Sanjay Dhar president, Sharika Foundation and KM CET.
Swami Kumar of Geeta Satsang Ashram laid emphasis on forwarding donations for the needy.
Dr Ravinder Raina senior member of Trust and Sunil Raina also spoke on the occasion.
Sushil Razdan general secretary of the Trust read the welcome address and R L Koul senior executive of the Trust presented vote of thanks.
Stage was managed by its publicity secretary Sundri Lal Koul.
