SMVDU hosts hands on training on ‘JK Tenders e-portal’ by NIC

KATRA, Apr 28: National Informatics Centre [NIC], Jammu and Kashmir, conducted a one day hands-on training on the topic, “JK Tenders e-Portal” at SMVDU for all Heads of all Schools along with their dealing assistants, all PIs having budget allocations, Heads of all Sections/common facilities, all DRs, ARs & SOs, AAO, ASO, and administrative staff of Engineering wing.
The aim was to provide practical training to the faculty and staff members on the various aspects associated with the use of JK Tenders e-Portal.
Neeraj Gupta, Finance Officer inaugurated the workshop and underlined the fact that as per GFR norms all procurements have to be made either through GeM or through other Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP) like JK Tenders e-portal.
Ajay Kumar Sharma, Registrar SMVDU, graced the valedictory ceremony and accentuated the importance of following GFR 2017 norms and using JK Tenders e-portal for procurements.
The resource person Deepak Bajaj, Senior Software Developer from NIC, gave an in-depth hands-on training session with practical examples to make the training more participative. He also cleared various doubts of the participants. The workshop was coordinated by Stores and Purchase wing of the University.
