JAMMU, Apr 29: Army Public School Rakhmuthi has organised a programme, with great enthusiasm in the school auditorium. Chairman APS Rakhmuthi was chief guest on the occasion and his wife along with officiating SO to Chairman.
Principal Shaswati Ghosh welcomed the chief guest. The program began with the lighting of the traditional lamp, paying tribute to Mother Saraswati, followed by captivating group song and dance performances. During the programme, the chief guest conferred authority and adorned the office bearers of the students’ council with symbols of their roles.
The newly appointed office bearers, including Head Girl Navya Johal and Head Boy Anmol Sharma of Class 12, along with the Vice Head Girl, Vice Head Boy, Sports, Library, Cultural and Discipline Prefects along with House Captains (Senior and Junior) of Gandhi, Nehru, Ambedkar and Patel houses, took an oath to uphold the values of their alma mater and lead by example.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prizes to academic toppers by the chief guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of co-curricular activities alongside academic learning and inspired the students to become role models for their peers and juniors.
