JAMMU, May 6: Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu today honoured its members who have been elected to the J&K’s Legislative Assembly.
In this connection, a function was organized in Jammu wing of the High Court wherein Advocate Muzaffar Iqbal Khan (MLA Thanamandi), Advocate R S Pathania (MLA Udhampur East), and Advocate Arjun Singh Raju (MLA, Ramban) were felicitated.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by K Nirmal Kotwal (President, JKHCBAJ), S Baldev Singh (Vice President), Pardeep Majotra (General Secretary), Anshu Mahajan (Joint Secretary), Rahul Aggarwal (Treasurer), and a host of senior and young advocates. MLA’s were presented with bouquets, shawls, and mementos, symbolizing the Bar’s deep respect and admiration.
In his address, President Kotwal expressed profound pride in the Bar Association’s legacy, noting that the election of three of its own members to the Legislative Assembly stands as a testament to the Bar’s enduring commitment to public service and justice.
A highlight of the event was announcement of funds for development of Bar Halls by the all the Members of the Legislative Assembly.
The members also addressed the gathering, sharing heartfelt reflections on their journeys and reaffirming their dedication to the cause of justice.
The evening echoed with the promise that, as the Bar continues to nurture leaders, its legacy will illuminate the path of justice for generations to come.
