BARAMULLA: To mark the celebration of the 77th Independence Day, District Baramulla Volleyball Association under the aegis of Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council organized exhibition volleyball matches under the banner of Azadi Ka Khel Utsav, Nasha Muqt Bharat Abhiyaan and My Youth My Pride initiative of government at Indoor Stadium Baramulla on Tuesday.
In boys section, Government Degree College (GDC) Boys Baramulla beat Khelo India Center volleyball team by 2-1 sets and in girls section, Khelo India Center girls team outplayed Government Degree College Women in straight 2-0 sets in the finals and lifted the trophies.
In boys match, Advocate Mohd Aslam Choudhary was the Chief Guest while Tanveer Ahmad, Physical Director Govt Degree Collage Baramulla was the Chief Guest. They distributed trophies to winner and runner-up teams.
