A group of women in Sandeshkhali accused TMC leader Sheikh Shahjahan and his supporters of forcibly capturing land and sexually assaulting them. The women demanded the immediate arrest of Shahjahan. Union minister Smriti Irani alleged that West Bengal CM Mamata Bannerjee is responsible for “genocide” of Hindus and has now given patronage to those raping Hindu women.
