JAMMU, Apr 1: The 118th Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), today celebrated its 34th Raising Day, marking another year of dedicated service and unwavering commitment to the nation, since its inception at OC, CRPF, on Ist April 1991.
The ceremony gained further significance as Yadav, Commandant of the 118 Bn, took salute at the Quarter Guard. In his address, he encouraged all personnel to uphold the traditions of cheer with unwavering dedication and valour.
Apart from above, Yadav highlighted the unit’s disciplinary service by organizing medical camps under the civic action programme for the benefit of the local community.
The Rising Day featured fair with games and cuisines delights from various parts of the country besides an Inter- Company Sports Competition promoting physical fitness and teamwork.
The CRPF Battalion commemorated its 34th Raising Day pledge to serve the nation with unwavering dedication, courage and integrity, embodying the motto on “Service and Loyalty” that epitomizes the CRPF’s contribution to national security.
